Founded by James Heugas, a licensed civil engineer with over 20 years of real estate development experience, BrightForm was created to ensure nonprofits and mission oriented organizations receive the same level of professional real estate guidance as larger private-sector developers—scaled and tailored to their mission.
James spent 13 years leading a full service nonprofit real estate firm focused on educational facilities, delivering projects from small classroom expansions to large, multi-story campuses serving thousands. In 2023, he founded BrightForm to extend this trusted, partnership-driven model to other community-serving organizations.
